Annette Lake 2008

On November 8th, 2008 five scouts hiked the trail to Annette Lake, just west of Hyak. There was some light rain and fog, and even some sun. It was quite beautiful at the lake and that was where they stopped for lunch. The trail wasn't that hard, though there was some occasional streams of runoff crossing it. After lunch, the scouts participated in a service project where they dismantled a shelter that somebody had made. They scattered the branches and sticks so that you couldn't tell it was even there, then they picked up all the trash that was left in the area. It was quite an enjoyable hike. - JFW
