Wallace Falls 2008

We invited Webelos II Scouts from Pack 282 and Pack 793 to join us for a day hike at Wallace Falls. When we arrived at the falls on the October 11th it was nice and sunny. We all lined up and got a hiking buddy to go up the falls. We started off on a railroad-grade trail and then after a bout a 1/4 mile started off on a smaller trail into the woods. We hiked for about 15 minutes and then took a break. After that we pretty much didn't stop until we reached the lower falls.

We took a water break and then headed up to the middle and upper falls. Along the way and especially at the top there were some amazing view points. We ate lunch at the top while we took some pictures. A bit later, we headed back down on the railroad grade again. When we got back to the cars, we finished what was left of our lunches and left for the church. - AMG
