Mailbox Peak 2009

Mailbox Peak is just a short way away from Issaquah and it is 4,000 feet of elevation in two and a half miles. It is a really steep climb and the hike was on July 5th. This hike was meant to prepare Scouts for the Mount Rainier climb later that month. Four Scouts and five adults climbed this peak. Yes, there actually is a mailbox at the top. - AJK
