Scout Sunday 2009

On February 8th, 2009, a few members of our Troop gathered at West Side Presbyterian Church, our chartered organization, to participate in Scout Sunday. A chartered organization provides space for the Troop to meet, as well as support, because of this, every year we have an event to thank them. Before, during, and after a service, Scouts help pour coffee, usher, and greet. It is an opportunity be reverent, give back to West Side Presbyterian Church, spread awareness about Scouting, and hopefully gain new Troop members. The day was successful and everybody went home happy. - JFW
